Electrolytic equipment smelting precious metals gold and silver

Release time:2025-01-02 13:49 Views:

Gold and silver are rare and precious metals that are widely distributed all over the world. They are usually naturally formed and brightly colored. Compared with other metals, they are easier to find. The production of gold and silver is mainly divided into two types: one is to directly extract gold and silver from the ore; the other is to comprehensively recover the gold and silver in the non-ferrous metal smelting process. Both of these methods are inseparable from the use of electrolytic equipment in the smelting of precious metals gold and silver.

Heavy non-ferrous metal ores such as copper, nickel, lead, zinc, and antimony usually contain a small amount of precious metals. Copper ores usually contain more gold, and lead ores usually contain more silver. During the whole process of pyrometallurgical smelting, the precious metals in copper and lead will flow into the corresponding semi-finished products or finished products together with the main metal until they are separated from the main metal and enter the anode mud after electrolytic refining. Anode mud is an efficient, high-grade, high-grade metallurgical material, and is the main raw material for extracting precious metals such as gold and silver. The process of extracting gold and silver from copper-lead electrolysis anode mud is as follows: after the anode mud is selenized and copper removed, it is smelted in a reverberatory furnace (or converter) to obtain precious lead, and then oxidized and refined to obtain a gold-silver alloy. On this basis, finished silver is obtained by silver electrolysis. The anode mud obtained by silver electrolysis can be electrolyzed to obtain finished gold: platinum group metals can be obtained from the electrolytic solution obtained by electrolysis.

Heavy non-ferrous metal concentrates such as copper and lead contain a certain amount of gold and silver. They are enriched in the intermediate products of smelting and finally enter the anode mud of copper and lead electrolysis refining. Therefore, anode mud is an important raw material for extracting gold and silver. The traditional method of extracting gold and silver from anode mud is acidification roasting-smelting-electrolysis, and recently the full wet process of acid leaching-flotation-electrolysis has also been used. The cyanidation method is generally used to recover gold and silver from leached slag and roasted slag. The distillation dezincification method is used from the silver-zinc shell.

Electrolytic refining (electrolyzer)

Heavy nonferrous metal concentrates such as copper and lead contain a certain amount of gold and silver. They are enriched in the intermediate products of smelting and finally enter the anode mud of copper and lead electrolytic refining. Therefore, anode mud has become an important material for gold and silver refining. At present, the extraction of gold and silver from anode mud in my country mainly adopts the acidification roasting-smelting-electrolysis process. In recent years, the full wet process of acid leaching-flotation-electrolysis has also been adopted.

As time goes by, the mining and metallurgical industry faces severe challenges in resources, energy, environmental protection and sustainable development. At the same time, the extraction process of silver in ore is improved to meet new requirements. The electrolytic equipment smelting precious metals gold and silver improves efficiency and purity.
