The regenerative combustion technology in aluminum melting furnaces is constantly developing. The following will introduce how to apply the technology.
Aluminum melting furnaces are upstream production equipment in the aluminum processing industry. Equipped with a heat preservation furnace, they can cooperate with continuous casting and rolling mills to achieve uninterrupted and fully automatic production of the entire line. In recent years, regenerative aluminum melting furnaces have made breakthrough progress in combustion control technology and waste heat recovery technology, and have made great progress in improving productivity, reducing fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. They can better adapt to process requirements such as strict alloy composition requirements, discontinuous production, and large single furnace capacity requirements. "Automation control systems are widely used in regenerative aluminum melting furnaces. While improving the working efficiency of equipment, they also play an important role in enhancing safety assurance, energy efficiency optimization, and operational stability, giving full play to the process characteristics and good performance of regenerative aluminum melting furnaces.
Regenerative combustion technology is firstly efficient heat storage, that is, firstly using the waste heat of exhaust gas discharged from the melting furnace (previously directly discharged into the atmosphere) to store in the regenerative body, and then discharge it into the atmosphere through the chimney at a temperature below 200°C, and then make natural air pass through the regenerative body, so that it is slightly lower than the furnace temperature and sent into the furnace to assist combustion, which greatly reduces heat loss and increases the melting speed; secondly, low oxygen Combustion reduces the oxidation loss of aluminum; thirdly, the emission of harmful gases such as NOx has dropped significantly. Therefore, this technology is an efficient, energy-saving and environmentally friendly combustion technology, which has been widely promoted and used in developed countries.
The aluminum melting furnace uses an efficient and energy-saving regenerative burner to melt aluminum and aluminum alloys quickly. After the solid material is melted, it will be batched according to the process requirements, and then the electromagnetic stirrer will be used to effectively and fully stir the liquid aluminum to make the temperature and composition of the aluminum liquid more uniform. Electromagnetic stirring can also be performed during smelting to increase the melting rate of the furnace. After the composition and temperature of the aluminum liquid meet the process requirements, the aluminum liquid is injected into the insulation furnace through the transfer launder for refining, slagging, standing and temperature adjustment. The temperature of the aluminum melt meets the casting process requirements and the casting machine has reached the waiting state. The aluminum melt flows through the flow port and launder through the online degassing and filtration device before casting.
Therefore, the regenerative combustion technology in the aluminum melting furnace is widely used and well-liked.
