Holding furnace

Release time:2024-11-04 08:33 Views:

The holding furnace is a basic part of the low-pressure casting machine in industrial production.

The holding furnace is a kind of material surface that is ignited and burned at high temperature. It is an indispensable part of the low-pressure casting furnace.

It is different from the general mixing furnace and generally should meet the following three requirements: 1. It can control the temperature of the liquid metal during casting and keep the liquid metal in a certain temperature range to ensure the normal continuous casting process and the quality of the ingot. 2. The furnace needs to reciprocate. In order to obtain a better ingot surface and crystal structure, vibration is required. The amplitude range is 0-15 mm and the vibration frequency is 0-200 times per minute. 3. The front of the furnace body should be easy to install the crystallizer so that the molten liquid metal can flow directly into the crystallizer within a small distance. Therefore, the insulation furnace is made into a horizontal power frequency induction furnace with an iron core and a slightly square furnace body. Such a furnace can be tilted and rotated, or it can not be tilted and rotated. The furnace that can be tilted and rotated is slightly more complicated in structure, but it can avoid the impact of liquid metal when leaking.

During the low-pressure casting process, the furnace body has to bear a large load, and the furnace shell must have sufficient rigidity and sealing. When using a resistance heating insulation furnace, a crucible structure can be used to facilitate the replenishment of aluminum liquid. In addition to high temperature resistance, the crucible must also withstand pressure. Therefore, the crucible material is required to have a certain high temperature strength, thermal stability and resistance to aluminum liquid corrosion. Generally, alloy cast iron or medium silicon ductile iron is used. The crucible capacity is mainly calculated based on the size of the casting, the output and the batch size of each shift. The molten pool of the electric heating reverberatory furnace is large. In order to improve efficiency, it must have a large heating area, so the molten pool cannot be too deep.

During the low-pressure casting process, the furnace body has to bear a large load, so the rigidity and airtightness of the cylinder are required to be high. In the case of a resistance-type insulation furnace, a crucible structure can be used to conveniently replenish the aluminum solution. The crucible is resistant to high temperature and high pressure, so the high temperature strength, high temperature resistance, and aluminum liquid corrosion resistance of its material are very high. The crucible capacity depends largely on the size of the casting, the production volume and the output of each shift.

Therefore, unlike the insulation furnace in daily life, it also plays a very important role in industrial production.
