Rotary furnace aluminum ash frying technology

Release time:2024-09-06 16:52 Views:

The technology of aluminum ash frying in a rotary furnace is a method of high-temperature sintering of aluminum ash using a rotary furnace. In this process, the organic matter and moisture in the aluminum ash are completely burned off, and the inorganic substances such as Al2O3 in the aluminum ash are also sintered into blocks, which provides conditions for the next step of recycling and utilization.

Rotary furnace

The basic principle of the technology of aluminum ash frying in a rotary furnace is to flow the aluminum ash in a ring through the rotary furnace converter and sinter it at high temperature, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing volume and recovering important elements. The main process of aluminum ash frying in a rotary furnace is divided into several steps: 1. Pretreatment: Before sending the aluminum ash into the rotary furnace for sintering, the aluminum ash needs to be pretreated. Usually, the pretreatment includes steps such as screening, removing impurities, and crushing of the aluminum ash so that the aluminum ash can flow into the inside of the rotary furnace during the sintering process. 2. Hot air sintering: In the rotary furnace, the aluminum ash is sintered at high temperature by spraying hot air and fuel. In this process, the fuel is mixed with air and enters the furnace, so that the temperature in the furnace reaches several hundred degrees Celsius. As the temperature rises, the organic matter and moisture in the aluminum ash will gradually decompose and will be oxidized into carbon dioxide and water in a hot environment. 3. Chemical reaction: Under high temperature, the inorganic substances in the aluminum ash are converted into block substances under the action of chemical reactions. At this time, the gradually generated AI2O3 minerals gradually solidify and burn into blocks, forming high-temperature baked blocks. 4. Cooling: After sintering in the rotary kiln, it is necessary to wait for the block substances to cool before they can be taken out of the furnace.

Usually, the rotary  furnace outlet and furnace inlet of the rotary kiln are connected together, and the aluminum ash is collected at the furnace outlet. Since hot aluminum ash is easily combined with oxygen in the air, it needs to be sealed during the collection process.
