Tilting method of rotary anode copper melting furnace

Release time:2024-07-25 13:53 Views:

The rotary anode  copper melting furnace transmission device is mainly composed of the main motor, auxiliary motor, pneumatic motor, main gearbox, auxiliary gearbox, electromagnetic clutch and large and small gear rings. The tilting of the rotary furnace is achieved by the electric motor and pneumatic motor, electromagnetic clutch gearbox and control device.

The tilting modes of the rotary anode copper melting furnace include fast tilting, slow tilting, pneumatic and emergency (pneumatic motor) tilting. In general, fast tilting is used at the beginning of oxidation and reduction casting. Slow tilting is used for slag discharge, casting and furnace repair. Pneumatic generally means that the furnace body has passed the top position, and the furnace selection switch is in the front control of the furnace. At this time, pneumatic control is used to tilt the furnace body. Accident tilting means that the furnace body is suddenly powered off when the furnace body is being charged, oxidized, reduced, or cast. At this time, the pneumatic motor will automatically pneumatically rotate the furnace body to the top position from different directions. The speed of fast tilting is 0.6r/min, and the speed of slow tilting and emergency tilting is 0.06r/min.

The copper refining process mainly includes four stages: charging, oxidation, reduction and pouring. The reduction period is carried out after the oxidation period is over and the slag is discharged: the reduction operation of the copper refining anode furnace is carried out in a reducing atmosphere. After the oxidation process is over, the oxidation air duct in the oxidation period is switched from blowing oxidation air to blowing liquefied petroleum gas (hereinafter referred to as liquefied gas). At this time, the burner stops supplying heavy oil to the furnace, and the liquefied gas on the surface of the copper liquid and the cracked combustible gas react with the combustion air that continues to be supplied in the furnace of the copper refining anode furnace. At the same time, heat is supplied to the copper liquid in the reduction stage to increase its temperature. At this stage, the temperature of the crude  rotary anode  copper melting furnace is maintained at 1200~1240C to ensure the reduction of impurities.
